Damn, what a machine. Every time when I do laundry and try to pick up clothes could not use bleaching and rolling dryer, I hope there is a mashine which can do this kind of boring thing for me. Now LG built it. This makes me remember "macroelectronics" mentioned by Dr. Nuzzo. Based on his definition, this words means a field of research aims to extend the usage of electronics to everywhere in our life.
BTW, I just set up my Haier portable washing machine today, which is a lovely useful machine.
