Found: can't manage posts published before yesterday
I found I could only edit or delete the posts published today and yesterday. I don't this is because the blogger.com only allows me to manage posts published in two days or because I published a long post yesterday, which may ocupied most buffer space in the server which stores my blog. I prefer the latter explaination since I found that the earlier poster I published yesterday can not be managed too. If this explaination is true, it also indicates that the buffer space in the server is very limited.

Learned: Causasian, Mongoloid and negroid
Today, I learned several words from a conversation with Angela, who is my talkative labmate. Anela used a word "caucasian" to describe white race. When I look up a dictionary, I realized that caucasian is actually a anthopological term. The relative terms are "mongoloid",which describe yellow race, and "negroid", which describe black race. Angela also pointed out that they don't use mongoloid to describe yellow race. To them, mongoloid usually infers to a person lacking normal pigmentation, or called albino. albinism (白化病）is a kind of congenital illness. I don't know why she has such a big misunderstanding to this word. I think this must be some reason related to culture. I mean some thing like stories or movies using mongoloid to describe albino.
Another thing I'm surprising is that negroid is used for black people. I know that negro is a discrimitive word. To me, negroid is very similar to negro. Angela once said that negro is a bad word to call black people. However, negro can be used to call each other among black people.

Thoughts：
今天读了一篇感人至深的文章“一个普通IT人的十年回顾”(原来在zsdn上的连接进不去，只能在google上搜了如下连接）。作者用非常平实的口吻讲述了自己的成长历程。讲述了他怎样由一个天资非常普通的人一步一步成长成为有丰富编程经验的程序员。全篇没有造作，从他的描述我感受得到他的诚恳。他是一个没有很高理论修养，（虽然他想，但是由于天资的影响无法达到很高的境界）纯粹凭着自己的勤奋和好学，一点一点的总结经验，通过他自己的亲身经历，最后达到了一种相对比较高的认识境界，他已经看清了很多事情的本质，认识到了现阶段中国所存在的问题。他认识到中国存在着很严重的制度问题，主要涉及的是教育制度。他在广西大学四年电子工程系的学习过程中处于一个中等水平，但是他感觉自己做起事情来真的什么都不会，课堂上教的东西与实际完全脱节，而且也没有形成自己的知识结构。虽然广西大学并不是重点大学，但是我在南开大学的感受也有很多类似的地方。首先应该感谢南开大学教我认识了许多新的东西，让我初步形成了人生观，价值观以及一定的做事方法，但是作为一个化学系的学生，我感觉我学的东西真的不是很牢固，当然也许是我要求太高，因为就算是在university of waterloo拿到了master学位，我感觉我自己的知识体系还是没有完善，所认识到的东西还是七零八落的。其实在我刚才写这些东西的时候，我发现是我自己的期望太高了，我仔细想了想周围的人，的确没有谁能够建立起很完善的知识体系，我所说的知识体系我其实只在我们系的教授身上感受到。我觉得我还需要时间来磨练自己，如果我真的能够去到UIUC，我相信在这样一个好的环境下，我一定能够建立起我自己的知识树。前天我和谷燕有一段很长的讨论，主要就是关于对人生和爱情的认识，我们发现我俩的境界其实已经在同龄人里面算是相对较高的了，这主要是
我发现我的一个特点，我的思想非常跳跃，在说一个事情的时候会感受到另外的事情，我应该尽量把它们记录下来，然后再进行整理。这就像我写论文一样，应该首先把要想讲的东西一股脑的写下来，然后再组织，我有经验在我的二次组织中我能够得到一个相对比较好的结构，不要求全责备，很少有人能够一下子就写出很好的文章，事后的整理是很重要的，我现在有一点感受到了写作应该保持在一种沸腾状态，至少也是温热，所有的东西都流出来，这样将来有了素材才比较好组织，不要想一口吃成个胖子。
如果blog是我的日记的话，那么我这么凌乱的记录我的思想也是很正常的一件事情，因为这就是我的风格，思维活跃，但是缺乏条例性，但我也同时是perfectist，我对事情要求很高，这种方面正好作为我的二次修改的指引。
想到什么就写下来，不要以为在网上发表什么东西很druai，实际上也没有人看，就写好了，将来也有一点见证。而且我这个人写东西很容易帮助我整理思路，我需要有一个沉淀结晶的过程了，我已经积累了两年了，在这两年里面我其实已经经历了很多事情，是到时候该把它们总结出来了，这也算是我master求学生涯的一个果实，也为我将来读博士打下一个基础。我不善于写作，但是写作又是一个非常重要的事情。我应该找到一个方法能够让我又快又好的写出东西，blog是一个好东西，它可能会影响我很多。这是一个非常有开创性的东西
就像刚才说的，这不是一个formal的东西，blog节省了很多表面的资源。如果做成网页的话，需要学习怎么做网页，页面还要设计的漂亮，这浪费了很多精力，而且把制作的门栏给加高了，更新也比较慢。而blog就可以很随便的加东西，胜在内容，而不是胜在样子，这是现在网络发展到一定程度之后返璞归真的迹象，真正抓住其中重要的东西，让大家都能够建立自己的站点，有发言权，这也是一种自由的进步。而且现在blog还和RSS， Atom这些技术连在了一起，知识更新的速度更快了，更方便了。bbs 的东西不具有个人性，更像一个社区，虽然也能够大家发帖子，但是太杂。newsgroup虽然更新很快，形式上也比较像blog，但是不易保存，个人性也不够。从这个角度讲blog的确是一种除了website，bbs，newsgroup之外的一种媒体。

These days I induldge myself with the world of blog. It's so interesting and exciting. I learned a lot of new things from it. For example, I knew there is a new function in google search. when you type "~" in front of the keyword, google will search other related word for you

I'm wondering if this blog site can be update by Yan and other person. This is a very important feature for the growth of this site. I'm lazy. I'm not sure I can update it frequently, even though I want to do that.
When I google "ispark", I find ispark is the name of a company group which is producing Unix-based software. From the website, I feel this company is pretty big. I want to have an unique name for my blog, but it seems impossible. Several names I like, such as "solarking", "polarcool", can also be googled. So I will stick on "ispark". I like this name.
